ENERGY DRINKS

There are over 70 million energy drinks sold in the U.S., alone, every day. Over 31% of their teens say that they drink energy beverages. The energy drink market has truly "sky-rocketed."

What do we know about energy beverages? What's in them? Are they safe? And, the big question, why do millions upon millions of individuals feel that they need them???

"being all things, to all people, all of the time"

Most of us are "stretching ourselves pretty thin" these days. Think about what you manage every day:

... your career; travelling from here to there and back again; your spouse/partner, your children(that's at least another 100 pages of duties); your parents and other family; your friends; courses and research; grocery shopping; other shopping; paying bills; housework; yard work; fixing and maintenance; appointments; trying to get in some "R&R"; trying to get in some alone time; coaching a little league; fundraising(baking/crafts/etc.); trying to plan any type of holiday; giving your pets a little quality time, too; ... O M G ... , then there's your emails, social nets, online tourneys, championships, etc.; and, while you're getting ready for that cool party you've been invited to, ... out of the clear blue, during your rare moment of calm and joyful anticipation, ... your son comes thundering up the stairs, yelling at the top of his lungs ... "the basement is flooding" ...

... that's why most of us need an energy beverage...

In "trying to be all things, to all people" we often neglect our own needs. We don't eat properly, we don't get enough sleep, we don't get enough recreation, or exercise that we enjoy. Even a 30 minute walk after dinner, ... "not likely to happen."

... more energy would be welcome ...

This being the reality for most of us, having more energy would indeed be welcome. But, we want to be healthy, too. Let's take a close look at some of the more popular energy beverages out there like:

... Red Bull, Rock Star, Monster, Full Throttle, and bHIP ...

Let's find out what each of these energy drinks is all about.

... it seems like a pretty tall order to find an energy beverage that will give us the energy we want and, at the same time, still be nourishing and healthy for us ...

Our investigation begins with Red Bull
